Cheers to surviving your first 3 days and presenting Blathers with his 15-item bugs and fishes donations –you should now be a proud owner of a Museum! If my previous tips were your sidekicks in this grand adventure, then high-fives all around! Be ready to put to practice all what we discussed in my previous post because it is up from here that the game will get...ANNOYING (till it gets awesome)

As you venture into the next phase, securing Nook's Cranny takes center stage. If you've been following my Lumberjack and Rock Mining tips, you should have all the materials in your pocket – easy peasy.

Now, onto the next chapter – after securing Nook's Cranny, Tom Nook casually drops the bomb: build three houses (seriously – he's not one to break a sweat, but he's more than happy to charge you for the experience, bah). Here is where I feel a lot of ACNH gamers we get frustrated and it is the infamous Villager Hunting task, because if you don't find them in a day or talk with Tom Nook about completing the task before you invite them, he swoops in and autofills those houses the very next day. Result? Stuck with villagers you do not like (I am looking at you Camberra!)

Flashback to TIP #1 – now's the moment it shines. You'll crave loads of Nook Miles Tickets for the dreamie neighbor quest (took me 120 trips for Marshal!), so Dodocodes came definetely handy for me to get a lot of NMTs. After my 120 trips odyssey, I swore never to do this again, so now that I restarted my island, I have embrace this trick: Let it autofill, then show 'em the exit with an amiibo or charm them into moving out!

When it comes to those initial 3 villagers, quick fixes are in short supply. I'd suggest embarking on around 20 trips to snag at least 3 villagers you vibe with to avoid any unwelcome surprises. Truth be told, those first 3 villagers are often the first ones to bid farewell – at least that was my experience. The same goes for the campsite-invited villager; if they're not on your island, progression hits a roadblock. It's a small sacrifice, but fear not – it's a tweakable woe in the grand scheme of things.

Now, let's focus on the crucial question: How do you actually kick a villager out?

Contrary to popular belief, ignoring or being mean to them doesn't necessarily do the trick. Surprisingly, the more you shower them with gifts and kindness, the more they seem to want to leave. Odd, right?

However, through my island trials, I stumbled upon what seems to be a highly successful method (though there might be other tricks out there). Fair warning: this one involves Time Jumping, so if that's not your cup of tea, patience or amiibo cards might be your allies.

Villagers Eviction Guideline:

YOU MUST HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE KK SLIDER PART (Aka completed the main part of the game)

  1. Initiate a Chat: Talk to the villager you want to send packing.

  2. Build Allies: Chat with two more villagers, preferably your favorites. These will be your go-to pals after interacting with the undesired villager.

  3. Leap in Time: Jump 15 days into the future. If KK is performing or it's the target villager's birthday within the next 7 days, extend the jump by an additional 5 days.

  4. Bubble Watch: Look for a dialogue bubble hovering outside. If it doesn't appear, jump to the next day. Important notes:

    • If the bubble appears on a villager you want to keep, talk to them and decline their move. Then, engage with your two favorite villagers, and leap forward another 5 days.

    • If the bubble represents something other than moving out, chat with your target villager, followed by your two favorites, and advance one day.

Usually, after these steps, your target villager will be packing their bags! However, be prepared for a repetitive process of following these steps over and over. It is animal crossing, the game of patience!

Some important considerations before attempting this trick:

  • Villagers inside buildings won't ask to leave.

  • The most recent villager to join won't volunteer to leave.

  • Ignoring a villager might lead to a "I missed you, where have you been?" dialogue but won't necessarily speed up their departure. In my experience, interacting with and gifting items might expedite the process.

  • When Time Jumping, avoid fully closing the game each time. Instead, use the home button, adjust the time, then return to the game – a quicker method.

Also I just have to credit the person that suggested this method, which was in the Good Places Discord group ! And also I wanted to share this link to Yue's ultimate guidelien to kick out villagers: https://yuexr.github.io/acnh/moveout.html it is truly a master piece
